First Female And African American Vice President Of Voter’s League

Orange County Chapter Turns a New Page

“Voting is a tool residents use to empower themselves, and moreover use to empower those around them. The polls are important, particularly within local politics, where a road pavement, renaming of a street, or the removal of an entire district’s voting base depends upon a choice of Mayor, Commissioner, Senator or Representative. Florida has been a battleground state since the 1980s, determining past Presidencies and Gubernatorial elections, sometimes contested by later
court disputes, as evidenced in the year 2000.

This feature is of Rose Monroe, the new Vice President of the Orange County Chapter, of the Florida Voter’s League, and the first women elected as Vice President of the Orange County Chapter of the Florida Voter’s League.”
